Capability Development & Training

‘Know how’ keeps you in the lead!

The leading companies and organizations invest in their people’s capability. They use their competences as leverage in gaining competitive advantage. This could be characterized as the age of ‘rapid change and transformation’:

We are preparing students for jobs that don’t yet exist,

to enable them to use technologies that haven’t yet been invented,

to solve problems we don’t even know are problems yet.

Your customers recognize ‘value’ as a level of competent delivery that exceeds their expectations without exceeding their costs. The best way to do this is to ‘know how’ to transform the way you work and ‘know how’ to deliver ‘great customer experiences’ every time!

Our ‘I will be able to do it’ Services

Our commitment to ‘know how’ services is that we are designing our own services and processes to deliver ‘great service experiences’ to our customers – every time! We are doing this through supporting our service processes with business processes that ensure we have the ‘know how’ to deliver in our minds and hearts – and at our finger tips!’. In other words, we ensuring our know how has been captured, made accessible and ready for use. And our people have been educated, engaged – as well as trained!

Our education, training and personal development services focus on the following principles:

  • Beginning from a base of shared understanding - although our services already have core designs, we always strive to engage with our customers in ways which ensure their use of our education, training and development services are specific and relevant to their circumstances and needs. In any longer term commitment we like to understand the global competencies of the company - and its key competencies that give you competitive advantage. In other words, beginning education, training and development from ‘where the company is at.’

  • The strategic competencies your company has – that ensure your place in the market and your opportunity to demonstrate competitive advantage.

  • How to support your competencies with designed key services and business processes which deliver competitive value – and which reflect the ways you work

Services

We offer services which enable you to engage with the opportunities of BPM through understanding it and its relevance to your company and you.

Shared Help Service – we are proud of our commitment to ‘value consulting’, the principles of ‘value consulting’ are:

  • Only doing work that cannot be done by the company.

  • Looking for other similar companies to offer shared learning.

  • Keeping down the cost by facilitating shared learning rather than using a consultant.

  • Keeping ownership of any development and learning with the company.

  • Training people to do it themselves rather than doing it for them.

  • Leaving skills behind.

  • Use real situations that need to be worked on or worked through rather than case studies – so that clients get ‘two bangs for the one buck’ – training and an actual development or real improvement.

  • We are designing processes which will enable shared learning and shared collaboration around problem-solving and design and development opportunities.

‘Focus’ Communities Service – as we build the community around BPM Focus and the Center for BPM we will have a rich mixture of companies, methods, case examples and company, team and individual experiences. There will be rich seams of specialized focus understanding and experience and we will seek to facilitate the sharing of these through virtual community groups.
